About them:
Upwood Primary Academy is proud to be an early adopter school for the government's universal free breakfast club initiative. This landmark program aims to provide all primary-aged children with access to a free, nutritious breakfast and at least 30 minutes of free childcare every day. By joining their team as a Breakfast Club Champion, you will play a crucial role in implementing this initiative, ensuring that their students start their day ready to learn and succeed. This programme not only supports children's academic and social development but also helps families by reducing the cost of living and providing a reliable start to the school day.
At Upwood Primary Academy, they pride themselves on their strong community spirit and active involvement. Their Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a registered charity made up of parents and teachers who volunteer their time to organise and support a wide range of educational, social, and fundraising activities. These events not only enhance the school experience for their students but also foster a sense of community and collaboration among families and staff.
