Salary: £28,884 - £31,698 FTE per annum

The Role

They are seeking an experienced Community Development Lead to drive forward the lottery funded Community Project. This vital role will co-ordinate the delivery of key services including the Food Club, emergency food parcels (as part of the Household Support Fund), and the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme with the ambition to start other initiatives that will change people’s lives as well as taking responsibility for recruiting, supervising and co-ordinating the volunteers.

Skills and Qualifications

Co-ordinate and develop community-based services and projects.
Build strong relationships with local residents, partners, and stakeholders.
Recruit, supervise and co-ordinate a team of volunteers.
Promote an asset-based approach to community development.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, funding, and reporting requirements.
Appointments are subject to them receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service –enhanced DBS
