Contract: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 hours, 39 weeks per annum (term time plus one week)
Working pattern: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm
Salary: Pathway 3 , £19,778 - £21,091 (FTE £26,409 - £28,163)

Your role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with students in the classroom and with small groups, supporting them to access learning activities to meet their needs. There may also be occasions where you are required to support students in providing personal and intimate care as some of their students need assistance with everyday activities. You will establish mutually respectful and supportive relationships with their students. The role will be both challenging and rewarding and although experience of working with secondary school-aged students would be an advantage, it is not essential: they would consider personality and commitment of the utmost importance. Full training will be given.
