Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable New Installation Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations on new-build and refurbishment projects, ensuring all work meets industry standards and health & safety regulations. This is a hands-on role suitable for a qualified electrician with experience in installing electrical systems from initial fix to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install new electrical systems in commercial, or industrial settings
• Carry out installation of containment, wiring, and final connections
• Read and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and other applicable standards
• Work independently or as part of a team on projects to agreed deadlines
• Conduct basic testing of installations prior to commissioning
• Liaise with site managers, other trades, and clients to coordinate installation work
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Complete necessary documentation and installation certifications
• Report any defects or issues to the supervisor or project manager

Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• ECS Gold Card (preferred)
• Valid UK driving licence (if role involves travel to multiple sites)
• Proven experience in new electrical installations
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work under pressure
• AM2 Certification
