New Homes Executive
Location: Home Based, covering Somerset, Dorset & Devon
Salary: £35,665 per annum
Vacancy Type: Fixed Term Contract until November 2027
We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused New Homes Executive to join our Development Directorate and play a key role in bringing high-quality homes to market.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the sales and lettings journey across multiple new build schemes, ensuring homes are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and with an exceptional customer experience at every stage.
You’ll act as a central point of coordination—working closely with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure homes are occupied quickly, transactions run smoothly, and our standards are consistently exceeded.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a New Homes Executive, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of developments and will be responsible for:
- Managing sales and lettings activity across allocated schemes
- Ensuring homes are marketed effectively and void periods are minimised
- Supporting sustainable tenancies and delivering strong sales performance
- Progressing sales through to completion while liaising with solicitors, IFAs, and other stakeholders
- Providing a professional, supportive, and seamless customer journey
- Maintaining regular contact with customers throughout their journey
- Supporting customers post move-in in line with aftercare policies
- Attending site visits, inspections, customer move ins and development meetings
- Working closely with Development Managers and delivery partners
- Ensuring readiness for handover and accurate scheme knowledge
- Auditing rent accounts and verifying contractual documentation
- Developing local lettings plans and adhering to S106 requirements where applicable
- Acting as a key point of contact for all external partners involved in sales and lettings
While this role is primarily home-based, there will be a requirement to travel to sites across Somerset, Dorset and Devon. Flexibility to attend additional locations, when needed, is also expected.
About You
You’ll be highly organised, detail-driven, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll thrive on delivering results whilst maintaining a strong customer-first approach.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in housing, lettings, sales, or property development
- Understanding of tenancy management, conveyancing, or development handovers
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage complex workloads
- Good IT skills and ability to manage data and reporting
Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check (if applicable), satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
This role may require specific qualifications, skills, knowledge, and behaviours to meet the Competence and Conduct Standard for Social Housing. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
